Secretary Wormuth: The U.S. should not be reckless in assessing Russia’s military capabilities

U.S. Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth said that Washington should not be reckless in its assessment of Russia’s existing military capabilities.

According to RIA Novosti, the U.S. would be reckless if it did not worry about Russia’s existing military capabilities.

Washington estimates that Russia still has not used a significant portion of its air and naval forces and cyber capabilities during the conflict in Ukraine, Wormuth added.

Earlier, U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Celeste Wallander said that the U.S. Army does not currently have American M1 Abrams tanks that could be transferred to Ukraine.

According to NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, the consumption of ammunition by the Ukrainian army exceeds its production in Western countries.
